What are the benefits of being a member?
The benefits of membership include discounts on event tickets, ability to access early bird ticket sales, the ability to vote in elections and run for an executive position, and much more!
What is the USU? Why do I need to be a USU member to join EDSOC? How do I join the USU?
The USU (University of Sydney Union) is the student services union for the University of Sydney, and allows EDSOC to run events through financial assistance. The USU stipulates that every student who joins EDSOC (or any other student society) must be a USU member, so the society can receive funding. I would like a refund for my event ticket.
We only issue refunds in limited circumstances and do not offer change-of-mind refunds. If you believe your circumstance is exceptional, please email events@usydedsoc.com.au and we will endeavour to get back to you.
